Leechburg's National Honor Society chapter inducted 11 new members on April 12.

Long-time head coach Jolynn Young and new assistant coach Jamison Geibel led the Varsity Quiz Bowl Team to a third place finish in the Armstrong Chamber of Commerce Quiz Bowl competitions.

Have you ever dreamed of traveling to a different country, sightseeing, relaxing and even traveling across the border? For six Leechburg students that dream comes to life this summer. From June 20-29, Spanish teacher Tricia Shank will accompany six Leechburg and two Burrell students to Madrid, Spain.

Social studies teacher Tyler Vargo grabbed the winning spot in the March MANness competition, followed by technology teacher Mark Duriancik in second place and senior Ben Kalmar and substitute teacher Jamison Geibel tying for the third spot.
